Verse for the Day Tree planting. Very much an issue in Welsh agriculture atm. But this verse is all about being the tree in the right place, I reckon. (Be like that tree.)

Verse for the Day Worship. Commit to it (SHOUT) and go for it (come before Him with joyful songs). It bucks the trend, and it's good for the soul!

Verse for the Day A thought about the positive value of blessing: It's personal. It's positive. It brings hope from outside ourselves. It's prayer for people that you want to see good things. May the God of hope send you joy and peace in trusting Him today ... all of…

Verse for the Day Elephant in the room: doing what you feel is best for you is very often what's hurt you. It's mercy and inner personal renewal we need, not the self-asserting justification of self-indulgence.

Verse for the Day In a social media age when 'performative individualism' seeks to counter lurking internal guilt, shame and self-doubt with distracting acts of public 'charity', Jesus looks pretty ... 'alternative'. (Who's 'up for' His lifestyle revolution?)

He's not a God to sit still doing nothing, so if you want to shelter in His shadow, you've got to walk in His ways.

Verse for the Day When you know you need to talk, but somehow just find the words to ... (Yup. That happens.) How about this? Give it a try! Does this help?

Verse for the Day The guy in the pic hasn't REALLY got the memo! It isn't all bubbly. It isn't all 'squawky'. It's a message ... of fundamental reconciliation. Let's get the memo, live the memo ... and not miss the reconciliation, eh? No fakes.

Verse for the Day The only good reason to push the weak to the wall is to help them over it. Be a lifter, not a grifter*. (* colloquial, esp. Internet A manipulator or otherwise generally corrupt person who "games" a system, group of people, or other entity for selfish…
