Another grey day in Wales.
Low cloud.
Rain drifting over the mountain.
And sometimes it feels like life is under that rain cloud ...

In Revelation 1:16 and 1:20, John sees something remarkable:
Christ holding seven stars in His right hand.

Those stars represent the churches - fragile, pressured, imperfect communities of believers.
But in fact they are not just barely clinging on.
They are being held.

When morale drops, a quiet lie creeps in:
“You’re on your own now. Nobody knows. Nobody cares.”

But Revelation does not begin with the church’s weakness.
It begins with Christ’s grip.

If your faith feels thinner than it once did…
If your church feels small…
If sermons feel flat…
If life feels unstable or precarious…

This short thought is for you.

His people are not slipping through His hand.
His grasp is not uncertain.
The One who holds the seven stars is not overwhelmed by our circumstances.

Put your life — as John urges — in His right hand.
