What controls your imagination?

That’s a more serious question than most people realise.

Because whatever fills your imagination slowly begins shaping your life:
- fear,
- comfort,
- success,
- anger,
- approval,
- politics,
- status,
- pleasure.

The churches in Revelation had become shaped by fear, compromise, pride and spiritual drift.

So God does something striking:
He doesn’t first give them a strategy.

He gives them a vision.

- A throne.
- A Lamb.
- Glory.
- Worship.
... a reminder of Who is REALLY in charge.

Because human beings become shaped by whatever they centre themselves upon.

And perhaps one reason modern life feels restless and unsatisfying is because we keep trying to build ourselves around things too small to carry the weight of the human soul.

Revelation says:
“Look higher.”
